Yorkshire female entrepreneur recognised for making a powerful contribution to society, the economy and communities
11th JANUARY 2021: Entrepreneur based in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, has been named as one of the UK’s 100 most inspirational female entrepreneurs by Small Business Britain’s f:Entrepreneur ‘#ialso100’ campaign.
Frederika Roberts, founder and managing director of Educate to Flourish CIC, a social enterprise dedicated to supporting children’s flourishing, is being showcased alongside 100 female entrepreneurs from across the UK, as part of the campaign’s recognition of the multi-achievements of women that have proved critical to society during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Now in its fourth year, f:Entrepreneur was launched in 2017 to highlight amazing female role models to help and inspire all small businesses through content, stories and events. It particularly aims to showcase trailblazing female entrepreneurs that lead small businesses alongside a roster of other responsibilities.
Indeed, Frederika was also called out for her work as a Positive Psychology and Education Wellbeing speaker, trainer and author, which she does alongside occasional postgraduate lecturing in Positive Psychology, part-time work as a Wellbeing Trainer for a mental health charity, and undertaking a six-year Doctorate in Education research programme. Frederika is also Chair of “Best for Doncaster”, a grassroots campaign group affiliated to the European Movement that she co-founded following the 2016 EU referendum.
